Jex Terms of Service
Last updated October 7, 2026
Agreement
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Jex, a privacy-forward AI personal assistant for coordinating plans and keeping useful context over time. By creating an account, signing in, texting Jex, inviting Jex into a conversation, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms and to the Jex Privacy Policy.
If you use Jex on behalf of another person, group, company, or organization, you represent that you have authority to do so and that your use will comply with these Terms.
Service Notice
Jex is actively evolving. Features may be incomplete, delayed, unavailable, or changed without notice. Jex is intended to help with coordination, planning, reminders, invitations, preferences, decisions, and related context, not to provide legal, financial, medical, emergency, travel agency, or other professional advice.
AI-Assisted Service
Jex may use AI agents, automated systems, and related service providers to read, classify, summarize, draft, send, and organize messages, requests, preferences, and other information. AI-generated messages may be incomplete, inaccurate, inappropriate for a particular situation, or based on incomplete context. You are responsible for reviewing important commitments, bookings, purchases, payments, deadlines, arrangements, and decisions before relying on them.
SMS Program Terms
Jex records optional SMS consent on a consent page at meetjex.ai/consent. SMS consent is separate from the Terms and is not required to use Jex on the web.
- Web sign-in. When you sign in at meetjex.ai/signin, you may enter your US mobile number and verify it with a one-time code. After you finish required account setup, Jex may separately ask whether you want to enable SMS.
- Texting Jex directly. If you text Jex without having opted in before, Jex’s only response is a one-time welcome SMS that names the program and includes a personal link to the consent page. Jex will not engage further until that page is submitted.
- Chat invitation links. People use Invite people in the mobile app to share a chat link through their own apps. You open the link, complete required account setup, and choose Join chat in Jex. Joining a chat does not enable SMS.
If you check the SMS consent box and submit the consent page, you agree to receive recurring SMS/MMS text messages from Jex at the phone number on file. Messages may include questions, reminders, invitations, scheduling or coordination updates, decisions, follow-ups, and related service notices for direct chats, group conversations, tasks, and requests you start or are included in.
Message frequency varies based on your activity and the conversations you participate in. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive Jex texts is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, OPTOUT, REVOKE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT, or by otherwise asking Jex not to text you. Jex may send one brief confirmation after processing an opt-out request. You may reply HELP or contact hello@meetjex.ai for help.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for the information, messages, phone numbers, names, preferences, and other content you provide to Jex. You agree that you will only provide phone numbers or add people to Jex conversations when you have a reasonable basis to contact them and to include Jex in that conversation.
You agree not to use Jex to send spam, harassment, deceptive messages, unlawful content, sensitive personal information you are not authorized to share, or messages that violate applicable laws, carrier rules, platform policies, or another person's rights.
Third-Party Services
Jex depends on third-party services for messaging, hosting, databases, analytics, AI infrastructure, and related operations. Those services may affect message delivery, availability, security, retention, and performance.
Connected Calendar Services
If you connect Google Calendar or another calendar service, you authorize Jex to access and use the calendar information and permissions you grant to help schedule appointments, check conflicts, display relevant appointments, and create calendar events you approve. Calendar providers may apply their own terms, privacy policies, and permission controls.
You are responsible for reviewing dates, times, time zones, attendees, locations, descriptions, and other event details before relying on an appointment or asking Jex to create it. You can disconnect a calendar from Jex or revoke access through the calendar provider.
Privacy
The Jex Privacy Policy explains how Jex collects, uses, shares, and retains information. By using Jex, you agree that Jex may process information as described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes And Suspension
We may update Jex or these Terms from time to time. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to Jex if we believe use of the service creates risk, violates these Terms, violates law or carrier/platform rules, or could harm Jex, users, service providers, or others.
Disclaimers
Jex is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jex disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, reliability, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jex will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, service interruption, message delivery failure, or AI-generated output, arising from or relating to Jex or these Terms.
